Curated by Lucy Harvey, Progress included work by Tracey Eastham, Sam Meech, Jan Chlebik, Evanagelia Spilliopolou, Hilary Jack, David Gledhill and Annie Carpenter. The exhibition marked Rogue Artists’ Studio’s final year at Crusader Mill following the building’s recent purchase and forthcoming development by Capital & Centric. Installation, film, painting and performance by selected members of Rogue Artists’ Studios consider the building’s transitional state and the industrial heritage of the surrounding landscape. My artwork, Hell in a Handcart, explored the experience and precariarity of shared artists studios under constant threat of eviction from developers and city ccentre regeneration.
